Recapturing the Rich Heritage of Eritrea’s Cultures and Traditions with Dr. Mesghina G. Medhin

The newly-formed Committee of Eritrean Parents for Youth Guidance is inviting all Eritreans and Eritrean-Americans of the Greater New York City Metropolitan area to attend its first series of lectures.

The seminar will address, but not be limited to, the following major issues: culture shock among Eritrean immigrants in the USA, differences between first and second generation immigrants, dealing with intergenerational conflicts and misunderstandings, marriage and the challenge of adjustment, and finding community resources for help and support.
