     The 22nd annual Eritrean Sports festival in North
America will take place exactly a week from today on
July 1st, 2007. This year despite many of the
difficulties, ERSFNA is proud to announce that the
event will be top notch.

     The venues are all ready. The main stadium of the
event for all sporting activities will be at Eastern
High School in Washington D.C a block and half away
from RFK Stadium and the DC Armory.
The second field or know as Field B is at Trinity
college where the soccer field is one of the best in
the U.S

     We ask all Eritreans who will be attending to be
very supportive of this event which will be going on
until Sunday July 8th, 2007. Disorderly conduct will
not be tolerated and we ask everyone to be properly
behaved and to enjoy this event that is especially
prepared for everyone.

     Vendor registration will take place on Saturday
June 30th, 2007 at the Hilton Mark Center in
Alexandria. For those who missed the opportunity we
ask that you come prepared with all your paper work
and register.

     The 16 teams have been picked and are paired up
into 4 divisions. We will have the schedule of games

     Basketball registration will also be finalized as
well as track and field. We will have more details
during the tournament as the two events will take
place mostly towards the end of the week.

     The ERSFNA host committee along with the local
host committee would like to welcome you to Washington
D.C. Directions are posted in the website and we will
also have an information booth at the main Hotel in
Alexandria at the Hilton.

Warning: Traffic can be hectic in D.C please give
yourselves ample of time to get to your destinations.

     Also when driving through out D.C there are
Camera's all over the place be careful not to speed.
The roads have a stripe mark which are Camera Zones.
Be sure not to speed when you are in that area. There
is a camera on the ROAD THAT LEADS TO THE SECOND FIELD
OR KNOWN AS FIELD B, at TRINITY COLLEGE on MICHIGAN
AVENUE. Slow down when entering the campus of the

     We ask that you support all Eritrean businesses
as much as you can since this event is an Eritrean
event. The more that happens we all gain by getting
support from businesses. The ERSFNA is in this to make
sure that people are united through sports, Culture
and entertainment.

     This year's guest of Honor is a female for the
first time ever as Nazrawit Medhanie a former Duke
University player will join us. Please stop by and say
hello to her when you get a chance.

     The location for entertainments are on Friday at
the Hilton Mark Center and on Saturday at the
Washington D.C convention center with top notch
entertainers from Europe and the U.S. We will have
more details on that very soon.

Vendors are ready! There will be new items T-shirts
and new music by Eritrean musicians and more.

     Plans are also being made for a seminar on
Eritrean sports and the role it can play in the
youth's lives. We will have more details on the exact
