The 22nd annual Eritrean sports festival in North
America is less than three weeks away. Come all and
come ready. The Washington DC area host committee
along with ERSFNA welcomes you to the world capital.
As the registration continues for soccer, so far teams
from the west, Midwest, South, North as far as Canada
and all over the east coast corridor have registered.

The main soccer stadium will be at Eastern High
School where the Sports federation and the local host
committee are working hand in hand with the officials
of the school. The second soccer field will be held
less than 4 miles at Trinity college in what is
considered one of the best soccer fields in the United
States.

Meanwhile the Hilton hotel in Alexandria will be
the home of the players and fans for a week. Reserve
your hotels now. To top it of thanks to some local
people and a hard effort from the local organizing
committee along with the sports federation, the
Washington Convention Center has agreed to work with
us as the venue for the awards night.

There will be plenty of youth activities and
sports games. Basketball teams are urged to register
early. The ERSFNA also has invited some special
guests. As usual Entertainment will be top of the line
more details will come on that.

Finally we ask everyone to come and enjoy this
family event peacefully. Drive early to your games as
Washington DC Traffic can be a headache. The
Organizing committee has worked hard to make all
locations close so please plan accordingly. Warning!
Security will be very high, so please let's show the
fans our host city and all Eritreans some respect.
