Orchestrated in Langley, the foot soldiers came
out barking they fail miserably.

The Meles Zenawi funded anti-Eritrean websites were quick to
stamp their signature and make an issue about the interview of his
Excellency President Issias Afwerki on the Al Jazeera Television
network. It was part of their mission to embark on this opportunity
that was planned and cooked up at the failing and broken intelligence
center that used to be efficient in it's ability to destroy nations
and leaders in it's past history. As Eritrean Americans most of us
feel strongly like the President of Eritrea that the large majority of
the people of this continental nation to be exact based on American
polls 71% of the United States population and growing each day have
had it with the terrible foreign policy decisions made at Foggy bottom
by the likes of Condi and the rest of the neo-cons and the so called
lords of the new order.
Logic tells us that from every indication that Meles Zenawi is on the
pay roll at langley, he then courts a Child molestor with no
journalism back ground what so ever to sit with him for a one on one
interview for a website that no sane Eritrean follows, then the
interview with questions brewed and written by advisors at foggy
bottom for the first time ever is shown on the website along with
other network websites funded by the regime in Addis vis a vi Langley.
Then send out the foot soldiers like a certain Berhane M Tekeste who
writes under the title "The Show That Broke The Tyrant's Back", you
have the A sister websites salivating and drooling like a dog/female
dog that has not eaten for a long time and try and prove that the
interview with Al Jazeera English was a back breaker. Well I tell you
what folks, no body could have answered the questions better which
were set up by outsiders. The visionary, wise and brilliant person like
the current Eritrean President despite all the travels he has been
making said what they wanted to hear in a "sound bite" as they are
known to just pick and choose what they like instead of putting the
whole interview in it's proper context. People are not dumb any more,
they are able to see the entire interview and judge who was right and
who was wrong.

On elections the President said What elections? and further went on to
add it may take decades. So what? He was absolutely on the money. If
the State Dept. had it their way they would put people that can't even
hold a meeting with 5 people to be the leaders of Eritrea. I mean for
Ms. Frazer to really think that Adhanom Gebremariam a lost soul who
roams around Starbucks every day collecting funds from the billions
that the policy makers give away, she must really be out of touch with
the Eritrean people. I mean after all we should not blame her she is
only the messenger and add to that she was too busy working on her
degree while the Eritreans were fighting the biggest army in Africa
supported by the system she works for and the Russians who hated
America in those days. What is Eritrea to do after all? The only way
is to create your own destiny and the President of Eritrea has stayed
true to his people who would never have it other wise. Does the
immigrant Indian-South African replacement host of the Riz Khan show
truly believe he can sit in the west and have elections through a
remote control in Eritrea? If he was a little wiser he would ask
questions like what is being done to have a political process for
elections in a new nation like Eritrea? It is a fact and it has been
proven over and over to put it bluntly, Eritrea and it's people have
chosen to build their own democracy with their own ideals from the
grass roots level and in the process build the nation in every aspect
of life despite the tough times. Building from Scratch on your own is
an impossible task for many nations but if there is one nation, under
god, indivisible with liberty and justice that can do it truly as the
US pledge of allegiance says, it is the nation of Eritrea.

On this the week of the 17th, year anniversary of independence from
brutal occupation by successive regimes in Ethiopia, Italy and more
the Eritrean people throughout the world once again have said "IN YOUR
FACE" to all who dream of re-occupying or bringing to their knees the
Eritrean people. The celebrations have been absolutely awesome in
Eritrea and everywhere else. Eritrea will never kneel down, It will
never happen. 17 years have proven that despite every obstacle that
come Eritrea's way the nation continues to be a classic example of
what every developing nation aspires to be. The Eritrean people will
always stand by their leaders despite the attacks that keep coming,
because the leaders starting from the GREATEST PRESIDENT in the
history of Africa are a part and parcel of the Eritrean people who
have beaten the odds to become an independent and free nation. For
interviews with the President you can see Reuters, Le mond, and many
others. Al Jazeera's Riz Khan show was just one out of the many
interviews the President gave even though the questions seem to have
been orchestrated in Langley and at Foggy bottom. It's OK. Here is
what someone had to say about the interview with Anand

"In violation of Aljazeera English's code of ethics, especially the
fundamental tenets of journalistic values of honesty, fairness,
balance, independence, credibility and diversity, Anand Naidoo has
sold out
both his personal honor and that of his institution for the sake of
serving spying interests."

Very suspicious!  Who knows after all Eritrea is not on the favorite
list of the people in Langley or Foggy bottom for that matter. Without
hate but with vigilance, respect and patience Eritrea and it's people
will stand up and defend their nation. It is the obligation of every
Eritrean to do so. As long as Eritrean Americans don't get involved in
criminal activities there is nothing to be ashamed of to defend what
so many gave up their lives for and by defending Eritrea and speaking
up for the truth you will not only help your land of origin but the
United States as well who has seen it's foreign policy interests
shattered to pieces, broken apart. We hope the next administration
will fix it and fix it quickly.

Eritrean American and damn proud of it. Like Michelle Obama said in
one of her speeches "For the first time in my adult life, I am really
proud of my country, because it feels like hope is making a comeback."
I hope that the America that was built on fairness, justice and
equality will win over the dirty, racist and dangerous America that
has been created by those who did not value the fundamental principles
of the founding fathers of this nation. Meanwhile across the Atlantic
in a place called Eritrea, the founding fathers are building a nation
of Ethnic, religious and regional peace making nation that can only
benefit the world we live in.

Long live Eritrea.
