The program requires ACROBAT READER VERSION 4.0. to be installed in your computer. If you decide to run the program from the CD-ROM, first make sure you have installed the correct version of ACROBAT READER which is supplied with the CD-ROM. The ACROBAT READER 4.0 is located in the fodler ACROBAT. Run the file "rs405eng.exe" to install it. Then you can run the file "merhaba.pdf" from the root directory of the CD-ROM.

the lower part of the page?
The system zoom level default is set "fit width".
You can change the zoom level to suite the size of your screen as necessary.

the current part that you are displaying.
7. The program takes too much hard disk space, what
can I do to minimize it?
Merhaba uses a lot of audio files that are recorded at CD quality. These
high quality audio files take considerable amount of hard disk space.
One solution is to run it from the CD-ROM. The second option is to minimize
(convert) the size of the audio files. The disadvantage of minimizing
the size is that you loose quality. The sound can be irritating and you
may loose appetite to learn Tigrinia. However, if you don't mind this,
do the following to minimize the file size of the audio files:
1. Open Microsoft Sound Recorder (standard Microsoft windows program)
2. Open the file that you want to minimize (or drag and drop the file)
3. Go to File and then Property
4. Select "Convert" and choose Radio quality (not recommended to go lower)
5. Select OK and Choose File Save.
6. The file will be 7 to ten times smaller in size.
8. Where do I find the explanation in English
language?
On every page you will find the icons that look like this:
Double click on one of the icons to display a text window that contains
an explanation in English language related to the content on the page.
If you want, you can add your own comments or edit the text and save it
when prompted.
